Mercadito Mundial

Mercadito Mundial, your “Little World Market” launched in 2019, to partner with artisans all over the world while motivating customers to “Shop with a Purpose”. All of our products are designed and created to bring a piece of an artisan community to each household and is carefully curated by our founder, TCU Alumni, Olga Naranjo.

Each item has a story and is uniquely and individually made; while we focus the majority of our line to be all hand made, hand drawn, embroidered or croched taking our artisans 2-4 months turn around. Each piece is made by women and children that have inherited the gift of hand embroidery from generation to generation.  Even the smallest of this art can take from several hours to several months to make. 

As a TCU Alum, I chose to create our purple and white line and later launched a collegiate line to give people an opportunity to dress with unique embroidered pieces that will last a lifetime.Our social enterprise shares profits through social projects.  The past two years we have held a, Dia del Niño Fiesta ( Day of the Child fiesta), where the children go into a shoe store and choose their own pair of new shoes.  We then follow the shopping with a meal, pinata and entertainment in the Chiapas, Mexico.

Together we all come together and share our philanthropic hearts by buying local and blessing global.
